  10. Here's a great tool for anyone that has an interest in early American   
  11. history.  This program is made up of two parts: the EXPLORER HISTORIES  
  12. and the EXPLORER QUIZ.                                                  
  13.                                                                         
  14. The explorer histories in this collection contain 45 explorers that     
  15. touched American shores and are considered to have made important       
  16. historical contributions to America's growth.  You can page through the 
  17. explorers one by one until you have found the historian you are         
  18. interested in.  Once the explorer has been chosen, you will be shown    
  19. his/her full biography.  The biography will include birth/death date,   
  20. notes of accomplishment, and other interesting facts.                   
  21.                                                                         
  22. It is strongly recommended that the user have a good map of the         
  23. U.S. at hand to follow the various expeditions.                         
  24.                                                                         
  25. The EXPLORER QUIZ is a program designed to ask a series of questions on 
  26. the 45 explorers.  From the main menu you will have a choice of subject 
  27. area. You may choose to be quizzed on just names of explorers, explorer 
  28. dates, or accomplishments - there are three subject areas in all. You   
  29. might also choose a fourth which has been called POT LUCK - it will     
  30. select each of the other questions at random.                           
  31.                                                                         
  32. The information and questions in EXPLORERS is on a high school and      
  33. college level.
